I have trained students and working professionals for universities, banks and CSR programs, and one thing I have noticed is this: the students who choose well are not the ones who read the most advertisements. So what does “top” actually mean?

Excel with AI: what is real and what is hype

AI tools can now suggest formulas, clean messy data and explain errors. That is genuinely useful. But AI only helps if you understand what you are asking for. If you do not know what a Pivot Table or lookup does, you cannot tell when the AI gives you the wrong answer. A good institute teaches the foundations first and then shows how AI tools speed up the work, and it does not promise that AI will do your job.

Job assistance: read the fine print

“100% job assistance” appears everywhere, so ask exactly what it includes:

Resume building
Interview preparation and mock interviews
Guidance on which roles suit your skills
Introductions or job leads, if the institute actually has them

And remember: no honest institute can guarantee a job. Assistance means help preparing and connecting. The result depends on your skills and the employer.

The 3-visit method

You do not need to decide in one day. Do this over a week:

Visit 1: the demo class. Do you understand the trainer? Is there time for questions?
Visit 2: ask for proof. Ask to see a sample project or dashboard made by a student. Ask about the syllabus in writing.
Visit 3: talk to a student. Read reviews online on Google and Justdial, and if possible speak to someone who has finished the course.

Three visits cost you a few hours. A wrong choice costs you months.
